Equine Physiotherapy & Hoof Boot Fitting in Staffordshire
Supporting comfort, movement and long-term soundness for leisure horses
Every horse is an individual. Whether your horse is recovering from injury, managing a condition or simply in regular work, physiotherapy can help maintain balance, strength and comfort.
My approach focuses on whole-body assessment — identifying subtle compensations and movement changes before they develop into larger problems.
I work primarily with leisure and non-competition horses, tailoring treatment to realistic management routines and workload.
When might physiotherapy help?
You might consider physiotherapy if your horse shows:
-
Subtle lameness or toe dragging
-
Stiffness when starting work
-
Reduced performance or reluctance under saddle
-
Changes in behaviour when ridden or handled
-
Uneven muscle development or loss of topline
-
Difficulty with transitions
-
Reluctance to stand square
-
Sensitivity through the back or hindquarters
Small changes often provide early clues
